Parent Teacher Association

We’re excited to welcome both new and returning parents to the Towne Parent-Teacher Association. Your involvement is welcomed and vital to the success of our school community, and we look forward to working together in support of our Towne community.

As valued members of the PTA, you’ll be the first to receive updates, share your insight, engage with school leadership, and participate in discussions that help shape the future of our school. We’ll also provide information on upcoming initiatives and how you can get involved in our ongoing efforts to enhance the school experience for students and families.

Interested in joining the Parent-Teacher Association? Please contact Vincent Wisniewski at [email protected] with your name, relationship to your student, and your student’s grade.

A few reminders:

  • Keep an eye out for emails from teachers sharing whether your student has been recognized as a Student of the Month and/or Towne Character Champion for the month of February.
  • An email related to accessing your student(s) Benchmark testing data via their IXL account will be going out in late February/early March.
  • Voting ends on Friday, February 27 at 5:00pm for the Philly Favorites contest. Be sure to cast your votes in both the Charter School and High School categories. Voting is allowed on multiple devices.
  • The Exelon Foundation is offering a free STEM Academy Program held at St. Joseph's University (not affiliated with SJU) and is intended for current 10th and 11th grades. We shared this information with our students, as well as both Science and Math departments.

The NEED Project is excited to partner with the Exelon Foundation to provide two week-long summer programs for rising juniors and seniors in your area.

All participants will stay on campus for the week and receive an iPad to use (and keep after the program).
