Salary: Commensurate with educational background, certification, and career experience
Signing Bonus: up to $5,000 upon completion of the onboarding period, professional development requirements, and allocated based on prior experience.
Franklin Towne Charter High School is seeking three full-time Special Education Teachers for the 2025–2026 school year. Join a high-performing, inclusive school community dedicated to empowering all learners.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, 10-month position (7:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental, retirement, and paid time off
- Lead development and implementation of IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage a caseload of students as relates to their IEP
- Provide both push-in and pull-out support for students as necessary
- Collaborate with general education staff, service providers, and families
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all learners
Requirements:
- Valid PA Special Education certification (or eligibility by start date)
- All required clearances, physical exam, up to date shot record, and Act 168 employment history review
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
