Volleyball Tryouts
August 19 11am-1pm.
Schedule will be given out the first day for the remainder of the tryouts.
All days of tryouts are in Building 215.
-All girls must bring their PIAA paperwork dated after June 1, 2019, signed by a doctor, on the first day of tryouts. NO ONE will be permitted to tryout without their completed forms.
-All girls should bring knee pads, as well as a water bottle. We will be running outside most days.
-Girls wishing to tryout for the team should be keeping up with exercise throughout the summer. This includes cardio AND strength training. New players, as well as returning players, should do volleyball drills 3-4 times a week to be prepared.

The 2016 Girls Volleyball team went undefeated in their regular season with a record of 12-0. The 2017 team will now be moved up a division to the liberty league. The 2019 team is now playing in the highest division of the Philadelphia Public League, the Independence Division.
Coach's Announcements:
To play a sport at FTCHS there is a $300 Athletic Fee that is paid once per year. This fee goes towards PIAA and District XII league fees, officials’ fees, transportation, uniforms and equipment for our teams. Athletic Fee may be paid to Mr. Parcells during school hours.
