Volleyball Tryouts Info 2024
Dates: Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13
Time:
8:00am-10:00am for 9th/11th graders
10:30am-12:30pm for 10th/12th graders
(Tryouts will begin at these start times so it is suggested that you arrive at least 15 minutes before.)
Where: FTCHS Building 215 Gym
Bring: Appropriate workout attire (tshirt, shorts/leggings, sneakers), water, and knee pads if you have them
*You must attend both days of tryouts to be considered for the team. You must have a PIAA form filled out and signed by a medical professional prior to tryouts.
There will be open gym sessions held on Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31 from 9:00-11:00am for new and returning players. The open gym sessions are optional, and space is limited. You can expect the open gym sessions to follow a loose practice format. Make sure to indicate on the form below if you will be present for one or both sessions.
Players will be expected to:
- Attend every practice and game (After tryouts, practices will be held every weekday from 8am-10am until the school year starts. Once the school year starts, practices will be held on every non-game day Mon-Fri from 3:30-5pm.)
- Provide their own transportation to away games (if school transportation is not available)
- Maintain satisfactory grades and school attendance per FTCHS policy
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to the well-being of the team
