Parents and Athletes,

The FTC Wrestling Team is a member of the Philadelphia Public League as a member of the Liberty Division and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District XII. Therefore, we compete for city, district, and state titles. Our focus is to promote a wrestling program in which the student can excel to their full potential while competing in an atmosphere that adds to their total education including their physical well-being, moral character, social and mental development. Wrestlers will wrestle-off weekly to compete for varsity positions. Coach Swift will determine who wrestlers at each particular weight class for each match. It is important that both wrestlers and parents understand that all practices, matches and tournaments are mandatory. If a wrestler misses a match or tournament it hurts the entire team. Here is a link to a video that explains the rules of wrestling to new wrestlers -and parents. The link for the 2019-20 wrestling season schedule can be found below. I am looking forward to successful 2019-20 wrestling season. Don't forget to follow FTC Athletics on Twitter @ftcathletics.

Parents and Guardians,

We can only be successful with your support. We are always looking for volunteers to help with fundraising. Please join FTC Boosters and FTC Wrestling Pages on Facebook; the links are below. The FTC Booster Club is looking for parents to volunteer. Meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 6 pm in the student union. To play a sport at FTCHS there is a $300 Athletic Fee that is paid once per year. This fee goes towards PIAA and District XII league fees, officials' fees, transportation, uniforms and equipment for our teams. The Athletic Fee may be paid to the Booster Club via monthly meetings. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Mr. Parcells at 215.289.5000 ext 3033 or email him at sparcells@franklintowne.org.

Parents, Guardians and Athletes,
