It is a pleasure to be working with Franklin Towne Students again this year. I came to Franklin Towne as an intern in 2005 as part of my master’s work at the University of Pennsylvania. Things worked out, as they often do, and I have enjoyed watching our school’s amazing evolution over the past decade. I am one of the Warriors who built this town and I am proud of our many achievements!
Prior to moving to Philadelphia to further my education, I spent all of my life in the South. I grew up in Tidewater Virginia and then went to Chapel Hill to the University of North Carolina. After college, I lived and worked in central NC until I came to Philly. I am still adjusting. I miss elements of the South but love living the urban life here in Philly. Outside of work, I volunteer as a counselor at a community center, keep myself fit at the gym, and am an avid reader of fictions and biographies. I have an adult son and two granddaughters who reside in DC.
Feel free to contact me anytime. I look forward to working with each of you.
