 The cooking club is a bi-weekly gathering focusing on food crafted celebration of holidays and seasons. Our projects include Halloween finger cookies, caramel apples, pumpkin whoopie pies, decorated holiday cookies, glazed doughnuts, apple strudel, and Easter egg cake pops. There is also a savory club now and again with turkey chili nachos or pasta. Everything is made with real ingredients and recipes are followed. Each member will work in groups measuring, mixing, kneading, rolling, and blending the ingredients for the recipe that will be cooked and usually enjoyed that day. Club members will be educated on various cooking techniques including the proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of all tools and machines used during the club.
