Job Opportunity for Alumni
Franklin Towne is seeking several teacher's aides for the 2016-2017 school year. These positions are open to FTC alumni with preference given to those who are college graduates or working towards a college degree. The primary role of the teacher's aide is to provide support to the classroom teacher in a manner that overall improves the quality of education given. The job consists of assisting classroom teachers in the carrying out of instructional duties. More specifically, they may be tasked with overseeing students in small groups, helping individual students on specific tasks, helping prepare or collect learning materials, monitoring student progress and behavior as well as maintaining the climate of the classroom.
